The NBA Offensive Move You Need as Part of Your Game

I consider this the NBA move.

What do I mean by the NBA move? I mean, that any player coming into the league learns this move quickly, and perfects it...or they won't last long.

You see, most NBA players are tall, strong, have great jumping ability, have great timing, and have a ton of experience playing the game. Even though most people say there is no defense played in the NBA, that's just not true. Granted, a lot of guys slack off on the defensive end of the floor or aren't always in good defensive stance or position.

But simply by the fact that you're dealing with very tall players, who are usually execptional athletes, offense isn't a piece of cake. To score the basketball in the NBA, you have to be good.

And the one move that NBA players develop and use is a fall-away shot. It may sound simple, but there are various ways the top NBA players execute and perfect the fall-away, and I'll talk about those in the next few blog entries. So check for the next post. You'll be glad you did. Because I'll explain how you can use the fall-away to become a big-time scorer.

I watched a top twenty NCAA game last weekend, and I was amazed and how many shots were missed over a period of about five minutes or so. I wondered at why it is easy to see such a difference between college and pro players, and I think it comes down to the fact that pro players are being paid to play. They aren't "distracted" by schoolwork or having to make a living. This applies for most professional athletes when compared to their collegiate counterparts.

The pro game is played faster, with better athletes who are more skilled.

It's a select group of players: the average players usually get selected out of the pool of players by the time they make it to the NBA. Granted, there are some average NBA players, but they're much better than the average college player.

The bottom line is they are much better athletes, with much better skills, which includes shooting ability.
