How to be a Great Point Guard
One of the most importants parts of being a great point guard is court vision.
Since point guards handle the ball so much, direct the offense, and often push the ball up the floor on fast breaks, it's vital that they can see the floor.
Having good court vision is the only way you can tell where your teammates are (and more importantly, where they are going), where the defense is, and how best to distribute the ball to your teammates so they have good scoring opportunites.
You also have to see the floor so you can create good scoring opportunities for yourself, whether that's a pull-up jumper on the break, or taking the ball to the basket.
